Irrotational Motion of Two Fluid Strata Towards a Line Sinkby D.G. Huber,
Serial Information: Journal of the Engineering Mechanics Division, 1960, Vol. 86, Issue 4, Pg. 71-86
Document Type: Journal Paper
Flow of two fluids of different density towards line sink located in bottom corner of rectangular configuration with upstream and extending to infinity, was studied by relaxation techniques; relationships between Froude numbers in two layers were determined and critical condition, when lighter fluid begins or ceases to flow, was estimated.
