Design of dewatering and drying facilities of Georgetown-Eastlake coal slurry pipe line transportation system of Cleveland Electric Illuminating Co, Cleveland, Ohio; continuously operating plant uses thickeners, clarifloculators, vacuum filters and dryers to provide 670,000 kw steam plant with fuel; first year's operating experience indicates overall performance was 30% above design requirements, and that facility is unique because of fineness of product processed.
