Addition of three gas turbine driven generators to Las Morochas power plant, Venezuela, to meet increased demand for electric power for oil drilling operations in Lake Maracaibo area; one single stage, single shaft turbine, coupled to 3 phase, 60 cycle, 13,800-v generator, and two 2-stage, 2-shaft, turbines, coupled to same type of generators described; turbines are driven by natural gas; cost of installation is considerably less than that of steam turbines.
