Rubberized binders used in surface treatments and seal coat construction are tougher, reduce tendency of surface to crack and bleed, and improve aggregate retention; special rubber additives and processes needed for rubberizing asphalts; use of sulphur, effect of dry rubber additives and other elastomers; study of different asphalts, and process for preparing large volumes of rubberized asphalt.
