Procedure for measuring flow in sewers containing industrial wastes by manganese dilution method; inexpensive technical grade of manganous sulphate was injected into sewers and degree of dilution determined quantitatively by flame spectrophotometric analysis; approach provides accurate and relatively simple method for use with industrial wastes.
