Abstract: A technique to select Airy's stress function suitable to solve laminated rectangular beam is suggested. Analysis of laminated beam under uniformly distributed load is presented. The results show that the deflection of three-layered beam with weak mid-layer given by elasticity solution is about 35% larger than that given by elementary strength of materials theory.
