The purpose of investigation presented herein is to study the behavior of the reinforced concrete continuous folded plate through the elastic as well as inelastic stages till failure with emphasis on the behavior of connection of the folded plate units with the diaphragm. The test program consisted of two micro-concrete continuous folded plate models. The models were single unit trapezoidal section continuous over two spans of 2.625 m each. The experiment was conducted in two stages: (1)Simply supported models were first tested without any interior diaphragm (span 5.25 m) up to the loads less than the elastic load; and (2)then an interior diaphragm was cast and tested to failure.
