Abstract: Scheduling applications utilizing computers require some procedure for observing network loop conditions. Although some proprietary programs contain routines to test for these conditions, no efficient algorithms have been published to provide for this analysis. The algorithm described in this paper has been utilized and shown to be an efficient program to detect such error conditions.
