Serial Information: Journal of the Engineering Mechanics Division, 1981, Vol. 107, Issue 4, Pg. 710-716
Document Type: Journal Paper
Abstract: This paper illustrates the writers approach for the static plane-strain case of a thin cylindrical shell with any number N of long, part-through axial cracks spaced equally around the circumference of the cylinder. The application to cases involving dynamic and other effects, while more complicated, entails the same principles.
