Since 1976, a study of nutrients transported by Okanagan River to Skaha Lake in Okanagan Basin, British Columbia has been conducted by Water Quality Branch. Inland Waters Directorate as a part of the Canada-British Columbia Okanagan Basin Implementation Agreement. The purpose of this technical note is to provide a short outline of an improved method designed for nutrient flux estimation in a fluvial channel.
