Extensive deposits of marine clay are found around the coastal regions of Singapore where several projects are currently in progress. The wide variations observed in physical properties of such marine clays make a statistical approach a useful tool. In the present investigation, the main objective is to find a dimensionless regression equation for the normalized undrained strength of Singapore marine clays in terms of other normalized properties easily determined in the laboratory.
