The applications of fluid flow in pipes are widely distributed through engineering practice. The problems associated with the computation of steady flow through commercial pipes are not difficult and are taught at the undergraduate level. The approach generally involves solving simultaneous equations, i.e., the equation of continuity and the Darcy-Weisbach equation.
