Abstract: It is not widely recognized that an extended form of the Bernoulli equation exists that may be used with certain noninertial references, although some theoreticians have considered the matter before in a different manner. Such an equation is simple and useful. It is the purpose of this paper to derive this form of the Bernoulli equation and to illustrate its usefulness in engineering.
